What makes a Role Model? (Part 1)

Who are your role models?

What qualities/attributes make a person a role model?

How you do actually define what is a role model?

Think about these questions and figure out the answers by yourselves……

——

To me: Role models can come from anywhere and they are the people who genuinely put efforts to make a difference at any levels, whether it’s individual, family, community, country or the world level.

Let’s take a journey to different parts of the world to learn about Role models!!!

INDIVIDUAL LEVEL

1. Life is short to just let it pass by with the routine tasks and die…. I think the purpose of life is to live it with meanings….

Note: i don’t intend to promote any company. Please just focus on the core message of the video. It’s really meaningful.

2. Beauty is the inside :

Avoid being judgmental based on what you see or the limited information you have.

I think role models do the RIGHT things and stick to principle despite the wrongful criticism by the mass.

3. Start from you  : Small actions that inspire others

.

4. Overcome the weakness or disability and inspire others with hope and actions

Nick Vujicic: A guy without limb who struggles to find creative ways to do things like normal people and later become a motivation speakers to encourage others.

Christine Ha : A blind woman who dared to compete in cooking competition with normal people and went to win the Master chef competition

.

Helen Keller

Jose Mujica from Uruguay, the world’s poorest president : (I respect him as a powerful person, who’s humble and seek the value of life, but not necessary agree with his policy).

.

FAMILY LEVEL

Role model can be someone so close to you. He/she been silently doing so much, but you might haven’t noticed.

For example:

Our Mum:

.

Our dad

.

Or other siblings who encourage or inspire you…..

COMMUNITY/COUNTRY/WORLD LEVEL….. To be continued…
